Danser 06/02/2019:Depuis cinq ans je me rends a Magdeburg pour assister aux Premieres de la compagnie de Ballet de cette jolie ville et a sa Biennale Internationale, toutes deux dirigees par un choregraphe et artiste d’exceUente qualite, Gonzalo Galguera.

Apres des etudes a l’Ecole Nationale de La Havane, et une longue carriere de danseur en Allemagne, il a ete nomme Directeur du DessauBallett, et depuis 2006 du Ballet de Magdebourg ou son indeniable talent et la qualite de son travail l’imposent comme un de plus…

Dancing Times 05/17/2019:I confess to being apprehensive abou t seeing a ballet company for the first time performing a work likc Dracula, which could be a can vas for a 11 kinds of cliches. To my surprise, all worries disappeared as soon as the bl ue curtains of the Theater Magdeburg opened to reveal Ballet Magdeburg, a young ensemble of artistic, technically strong dancers, in a two-act romantic ballet full of action, and conceived and choreographed with good taste by Gonzalo Galguera, the company’s director and chief choreographer.

Neues Deutschland 30/04/2019: Seit mehr als 120 Jahren fasziniert die Figur des Grafen Dracula in Transsylvanien die Menschen. 170 Spielfassungen gibt es, und jetzt packt mit der Uraufführung des Balletts “Dracula” von Gonzalo Galguera am Magdeburger Opernhaus dieser Stoff auch die Ballettenthusiasten. Die Premiere wurde mit minutenlangen stehenden Ovationen bedacht.
